The glen is of particular interest to walkers with low level river walks, many hill tracks and high level hill walks including Perthshire’s highest peak, Ben Lawers within a few miles of Innerwick Estate.

Dalraddy is a lovely family park set in 97 acres of mixed native pine & birch woodland with spectacular views of the Cairngorm Mountains range, which now forms part of the Cairngorm National Park. 

Douglas Water Golf Club

The charming Douglas Water Golf Club, set on a hill above the Douglas Water (from which it takes its name) is an undulating course with plateau greens, providing a challenging round for any standard of golfer. The Golf Club’s association with the Douglas-Home Family goes back to its origins in 1921 and still continue today. Visitors to the Club are always welcome – except on occasional Saturdays when the course is closed for Club events.

Forter Castle

Forter Castle, built by the Ogilvys of Airlie as a fortified house or ‘Fortalice’ in 1560, the castle fell in 1640. When you visit you will see the full tale on the beautifully painted ceiling.  It has now been beautifully restored to offer you a true Highland Retreat.
